Jetour South Africa hosted its inaugural Dealer of the Year Awards on Tuesday night, bringing together its national dealer network to reflect on performance and celebrate outstanding achievement, following a period of strong growth, rising recognition and growing brand trust since entering South Africa in September 2024.
These awards recognise excellence across the network in showroom experience, after-sales and technical service, parts management, sales performance, digital and dealer marketing, customer experience, leadership roles, and overall dealership performance. They celebrate individuals and partners who have demonstrated outstanding results, innovation, and a strong commitment to the brand.
“Here in South Africa, Jetour operates with a subsidiary-led, localised approach, focused not only on delivering high-quality products but also on ensuring exceptional service,” says Mr Andy Yuan from Jetour Auto, who presented at the awards ceremony held at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria. “A network of [nearly] 60 carefully selected, high-performing dealerships serves customers to rigorous standards of excellence. Guided a ‘service first’ philosophy, Jetour also leads the market with 100% parts availability and a two-hour technical support response time.”
Standout Dealer of the Year honours went to three dealerships, with Jetour Alberton winning Category A (large dealerships), Jetour Midrand winning Category B (medium dealerships) and Jetour Polokwane winning Category C (small dealerships). These sought after accolades recognise outstanding all-round performance across sales, after-sales, customer experience and operational excellence. Alberton further strengthened its position as a top performer, also securing Sales Manager of the Year for Pieter Els and Dealer Principal of the Year for Dirkie Grobler. Individual excellence was further highlighted in the Technician of the Year category, with Avishkar Rampal of Jetour Umhlanga named Category A winner, Lee Mmakola of Jetour Bryanston named Category B winner and Naseem Samsodien of Jetour Tokai named Category C winner. Together with strong performances from other high-performing dealerships such as Jetour Midrand and Jetour Bryanston across multiple categories, these results reflect the talent, commitment and consistency across the Jetour network.
