Audi South Africa Unveils Exclusive Local Special-Edition Models
Audi South Africa is set to enhance the car-buying experience for South African customers by introducing special-edition models tailored to the local market. These models, known as Black Edition and Urban Edition, come with sought-after cosmetic and convenience features, simplifying the process for customers to find their ideal Audi.
The initial launch will feature the A4 and S4 Black Edition models, with plans to introduce special editions of other popular models next year, including the Q2, A3, S3, A5, S5, Q3 SUV and Sportback, as well as the Q5 SUV and Sportback.
Scheduled for an early-2024 release, these special editions aim to provide better value for money and increased convenience for South African consumers. Audi Assured offers will accompany the launch, adding compelling benefits to the purchase.
The first vehicles to receive the Black Edition treatment are the sophisticated A4 and S4 sedan ranges. For the A4, the Black Edition package is available for the 35 TFSI, 35 TDI, and 40 TFSI models, as well as an option for the S4 TFSI. Limited to just 100 units, the A4 Black Edition models present a distinctive and exclusive presence on South African roads. Notably, the cost of the special-edition A4 model is significantly lower than if these features were individually optioned.
Key features of the A4 Black Edition models include the Black Styling Package, S line exterior and interior package, Fine Nappa leather with S embossing, Matrix LED headlights, Privacy glass, 19-inch alloy wheels, Glass sunroof, Storage and luggage compartment package, Technology package with MMI navigation and Audi Connect, Three-zone comfort automatic air-conditioning, Electrically adjustable front seats, Audi virtual cockpit plus, Rear-view camera, and Audi phone box inductive charging.
The S4 Black Edition offers additional unique elements, such as the Bang & Olufsen Premium sound system, Sport seats Plus with electric adjustment and diamond quilting, Carbon boot spoiler, Pneumatically adjustable lumbar support with a massage function for front seats, and Seat heating.
The pricing for the A4 Black Edition models is as follows:

– Audi S4 TFSI quattro tiptronic Black Edition: R1,274,900

Looking ahead to 2024, Audi South Africa plans to expand the Black Edition treatment to various key product ranges, gradually rolling out special editions for the Q2, A3, S3, A5, S5, Q3 SUV and Sportback, as well as the Q5 SUV and Sportback.
In addition to the Black Edition, an Urban Edition option will be introduced next year for the A3 Sportback 35 TFSI and the Q2 35 TFSI, providing customers with an alternative offer.
