FIAT pays homage to Disney’s 100th anniversary with an exclusive gift—five special editions of the new Fiat Topolino, each dedicated to Mickey Mouse. The presentation unfolded at Casa 500, within the esteemed “Pinacoteca Agnelli,” marking a celebration of Disney’s centenary and Mickey Mouse’s 95th anniversary, along with Lingotto’s centennial.
Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO and Global Stellantis CMO, expressed the intertwined histories of FIAT and Disney, highlighting shared values of authenticity, warmth, and joy. The new Fiat Topolino, an electric quadricycle, symbolizes this connection, offering “smiling” electric mobility to a younger audience.
Daniel Frigo of The Walt Disney Company Italy & Turkey emphasized the pride in celebrating Italy’s culture and creativity, fostering a relationship built on respect and trust. The collaboration resulted in five unique Fiat Topolino pieces, representing a journey through time and art.
Inspired by Disney creatives, FIAT Centro Stile crafted four Topolino with distinct themes: historical, modern, street, and abstract. The fifth, designed with Disney artist Giorgio Cavazzano, adds a celebratory touch.
The historical theme pays tribute to Disney’s first short film, “Steamboat Willie,” exhibited at MoMA in New York. The modern theme incorporates Mickey Mouse’s initials for a vibrant, forward-looking design. The abstract livery showcases Disney’s creativity through abstract graphics, blending visual impact with elegance. Street creativity infuses graffiti references, offering an urban twist to joyful urban mobility.
The joint effort of Disney and Lingotto centenary celebrations resulted in five one-offs, a birthday gift for Disney, capturing the magic surrounding two iconic figures—Mickey Mouse and the Fiat Topolino.
The exhibition of these unique creations, in collaboration with Pinacoteca Agnelli, will grace the North ramp of the Lingotto building, celebrating creativity and popular culture.
