GQEBERHA – ISUZU Motors South Africa, the primary sponsor of IRONMAN South Africa, takes great pride in supporting a diverse and accomplished group of athletes and individuals gearing up for the upcoming IRONMAN Mossel Bay event on November 19.
The Mossel Bay competition marks the conclusion of a demanding series of IRONMAN challenges held earlier in the year in Gqeberha and Durban, renowned for its rigorous examination of physical endurance.
Ziphindiwe Ngcobo, Department Executive for Marketing at ISUZU, shares her excitement for the brand’s participation in the IRONMAN Mossel Bay 2023 event: “With a 15-year partnership, we are thrilled to be part of the Mossel Bay event. The IRONMAN brand, like ISUZU, celebrates being BOLD BEYOND HUMAN, recognizing the endurance of ordinary individuals who courageously step out of their comfort zone to take on physical and mental challenges of this magnitude.”
The sponsored participants include a mix of ISUZU dealers, loyal customers, and esteemed athletes, among them South Africa’s distinguished triathlon coach, Steve Atwell.
Steve Atwell, a TSA and ASA certified Level 2 Triathlon coach, serves as the Chairman of ATC Multisport, South Africa’s largest multisport club, renowned for nurturing both novice and elite athletes. In 2010, he founded ‘Embark Tri’ to mentor aspiring athletes.
